Conference venue
ASC 2024 is taking place at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music in Gateshead. It is located just south of Newcastle upon Tyne and is a cultural hub and landmark for the region sitting alongside Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art and the iconic Tyne Bridge.
Getting to The Glasshouse
The Glasshouse overlooks the River Tyne and is just a short walk from Newcastle city centre with a full range of retail, food and drink and leisure facilities. By train
If you are coming to Gateshead by train, Newcastle Central Station is a 20-minute walk from the venue and connected the city to destinations all across the UK, including London, Manchester and Edinburgh which are all under three hours away by train.
By plane
Newcastle International Airport is Gateshead's closest airport and is just 20 minutes outside of Newcastle city centre.
